The intent of this site is to provide my views on a wide variety of issues that I feel passionate about. My views are based on my perspectives of the facts and how I feel about them. I hope that this site will spawn discussion and reflection that will lead to a better understanding of the issues by all of us. I believe that everyone should be (but very few are) willing to modify their opinions based on the reception of new information and the constant reflection on current information. The information can come from life experiences, various fact resources, and others' opinions. Because none of these sources are complete we should continue to gather and process information in order to form better opinions. Even if we have all of the facts, our life experiences and others' life experiences (which we learn through their opinions) can form our views.
I will not respect the views of those who are not open to modifying their opinions. You will find that I have and will modify my opinions as I learn more. I will post my views on just about anything -- from war to politics to sports. My views will not be racist. My religious views will be limited. I will not attempt to "force" my views on anyone. Some views (in the form of Blog entries) will be from fleeting thoughts; some (in the form of entire web pages) will be from repeated in-depth thought. I hope this site will be relatively dynamic and will reflect current "hot" topics. The site will "archive" my views until they change and become "active" again. This site might ultimately become a journal of my opinions. Welcome to My Views! I hope to learn from you!
